Founded in 2018 by a passionate black female entrepreneur, Akkerdam B&B has grown into a trusted 3-star establishment, recognized by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. With 14 spacious air-conditioned rooms, 6 fully equipped self-catering units, and tranquil mountain views, we offer the perfect blend of comfort, value, and warmth.
Our commitment extends beyond accommodation. We aim to empower our community, create employment, and promote Calvinia as a key destination along the Karoo Highland Route. Through our events, retreats, and conferencing services, we celebrate the rich culture, heritage, and natural beauty of the Northern Cape.
